The importance of English in a war

English is very important in a war like this because even though the main language is Russian, they have more knowledge of the English language than of any other language such as Spanish. The English is spoken for the people in the war because it became a universal language with the passage of time.

Imagine you are at war and you are a civilian, how do you shout that you want "peace" in Russian, I think it is easier to say it in English "I need peace"
